Boudhanath Stupa in Kathmandu, Nepal is one of the largest Stupas in the world. It's simply a must see for anyone in Kathmandu and attracts hoards of tourists and Nepalese every year. Located just 11km from the central Kathmandu it's location was a result of a popular trade route between Sankhu in Nepal and Tibet during the 1950's.
It's shear size is quite overwhelming and the thousands of colourful prayer flags that flow from each corner of the Stupa to the central point add to it's charm.
